K Family Session | Family Photography, Sammamish WA

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting the K Family at Pine Lake Park for a family picture session. We had actually planned for a lovely cool fall session, but the weather here in the PNW decided differently - it was still SUMMER!

On a really bright, warm day we tried our best to hide in the shade and keep cool. What a sweet family this is, it is not every day that you get to photograph triplets, and four beautiful children in total!

We had lots of giggles and laughs and I hope the kids enjoyed it a little too!

Many, many thanks to the K Family for my 'back-to-business in Seattle' session - it was a blessing to share it with you. And I hope these pictures will be enjoyed for a long time to come.

First Day of Second Grade | Family Photography, Sammamish WA

Such excitement in our house this morning! First day of Second Grade for our young man. He could not wait to get out the door. I hope he is having a grand old time today in his new class with his new teacher and some new and old classmates.

We did manage to hold him back for some pictures before he raced off to the bus stop!

Have a wonderful year my sweet boy, filled with fun, learning, happiness and many, many fulfilling memories. We love you stax!

Family A - a session in the park!

On Saturday I met up with the A Family for a family photo session at Sims Lake Park (it seems that is my stomping ground lately!). This was a challenging one for all the adults, I think. The kids were just not quite in the "zone" (who can blame them?) and so for much of the time I just followed them and snapped what I could. The results are lovely!

Although the shoot was perhaps a little different from what the Mom and her photographer had envisaged, I still managed to capture some very cute and loving moments that will bring joy to anybody who looks at them, but most of all this beautiful family!

Thanks for hanging in there dear A Family, I hope that these pictures will make you smile for many moons to come!
