K Family Session | Family Photography, Sammamish WA

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting the K Family at Pine Lake Park for a family picture session. We had actually planned for a lovely cool fall session, but the weather here in the PNW decided differently - it was still SUMMER!

On a really bright, warm day we tried our best to hide in the shade and keep cool. What a sweet family this is, it is not every day that you get to photograph triplets, and four beautiful children in total!

We had lots of giggles and laughs and I hope the kids enjoyed it a little too!

Many, many thanks to the K Family for my 'back-to-business in Seattle' session - it was a blessing to share it with you. And I hope these pictures will be enjoyed for a long time to come.

Family A - a session in the park!

On Saturday I met up with the A Family for a family photo session at Sims Lake Park (it seems that is my stomping ground lately!). This was a challenging one for all the adults, I think. The kids were just not quite in the "zone" (who can blame them?) and so for much of the time I just followed them and snapped what I could. The results are lovely!

Although the shoot was perhaps a little different from what the Mom and her photographer had envisaged, I still managed to capture some very cute and loving moments that will bring joy to anybody who looks at them, but most of all this beautiful family!

Thanks for hanging in there dear A Family, I hope that these pictures will make you smile for many moons to come!

Little Miss C.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of taking Little Miss C's 4 year old pictures and we had a lot of fun together. Let's just say Little Miss C is going through that "funny-smile-stage", she was so cute. Every time I lifted my camera to start shooting she'd put on this "super-grin".....her mother and I had a real job trying to make her relax a bit.

Believe it or not, this shoot took place in an open-air mall parking area and the entrance to a stone quarry! This is one resourceful Mama, who has a good eye and knows what she wants! I love clients who help me get what they are looking for! I hope we achieved the goal?

Thanks again for making my return to "work" so easy and fun, I had a great time and felt completely well and happy to be back clicking that button!

I hope you'll enjoy the pictures.
